Ohio State basketball stays at No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll ahead of Big Ten Tournament


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following a 1-1 week to close out the regular season Ohio State basketball remains at No. 19 in the updated in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll. The Buckeyes beat No. 21 Illinois 71-63 on Senior Night then lost to No. 9 Michigan State on Sunday. They will face Purdue on Thursday to start their road towards a Big Ten Tournament Championship. Following a 2-0 week, the Spartans are back inside the top 10 and are the highest-ranked team from the Big Ten. The conference holds six ranked teams this week with Iowa being the lowest at No. 25. While the top three remain the same with No. 1 Kansas receiving all 65 first-place votes, Florida State is the newcomer to the top five coming in at No. 4.
