INDIANAPOLIS — A year ago at this time, Damon Arnette Jr. had already climbed from modestly ranked high school prospect to Ohio State football starter to fringe NFL Draft prospect. That fringe was a long way from where Arnette wanted to be — and from where he stands today. “If you love a redemption story,” fellow OSU starting cornerback Jeff Okudah said, “you’ll respect Damon Arnette a lot.” Arnette said he thinks every day about his decision to put off the NFL Draft and return to Ohio State for the 2019 season.
