The Michigan women’s basketball team’s Big Ten Tournament run came to an end Saturday night in Indianapolis. The seventh-seeded Wolverines pulled to within three twice in the final 62 seconds but couldn’t come back against No. 6 seed Ohio State, falling 66-60 in a conference semifinal. Michigan (21-11), which knocked off No. 2 seed Northwestern in the quarterfinals, overcame a 12-point third-quarter deficit to tie the game at 47 early in the fourth. However, the Buckeyes responded with an 11-3 run to take an eight-point lead with 2:01 remaining. They advance to face No. 1 seed Maryland in Sunday’s championship. Michigan sophomore Naz Hillmon hit the career 1,000-point and 500-rebound mark with 22 and 16, respectively, but OSU limited standout sophomore point guard Amy Dilk to two points on 1-of-8 shooting.
