COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football now has a second five-star commitment in its 2021 recruiting class. Philadelphia St. Joseph’s quarterback Kyle McCord was moved up to five-star status in the 247 Sports composite. He is now ranked No. 23 overall — jumping up from his previous ranking of No. 57. Pickerington North defensive end Jack Sawyer, the nation’s No. 2 prospect, is also committed to Ohio State. The Buckeyes have commitments from eight of the nation’s top 101 players, and the class is currently ranked No. 1 in the composite. Another OSU commit making an even bigger jump was defensive tackle Mike Hall, shot rocketed from No. 232 to 85.
