COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball continued to add to its NCAA Tournament resume while improving to 7-7 in the Big Ten with a 68-52 win over Purdue. The win over the Boilermakers qualifies as a Quadrant Two win giving the Buckeyes five if the season were to end today. This was a game Ohio State should have won just as the win over Rutgers. A trip to Nebraska on Feb. 27 will provide the last opportunity for a game where it won’t be a surprise if OSU is victorious. The other four will be toss-ups, but wins would go a long way in solidifying its tournament spot.
