The road remains unkind to Rutgers basketball as 2nd half rally falls short at Ohio State


Ohio State’s back-to-back 3-pointers at the end of the first half appeared to be knockout punches. They ended up being the difference after yet another second-half rally by Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights pulled within three points after trailing the Buckeyes by as many as 20, but could not complete what would have been a remarkable comeback as Ohio State held on for a 72-66 win on Wednesday night at Value City Arena in Columbus, denying Rutgers the signature road victory it has been searching for.
