As we near the middle of the February dead period, the recruiting trail has quieted down just a bit. That doesn’t mean, however, that Ohio State isn’t still finding some way to get itself involved with some of the nation’s top talents. On Sunday, four-star outside linebacker Barrett Carter teased on Twitter a big announcement he would be making on Wednesday at 5 p.m. EST. Well, that time has came and went, and we now know that Carter’s big announcement was his official top 11 schools. Ohio State made the cut for the nation’s No. 8 OLB, alongside 10 other schools including the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and others.
