Ohio State won nine of 10 matches – eight with bonus points attached – as the No. 3 Buckeyes steamrolled the Maryland Terrapins in a 43-3 rout at Covelli Center. Luke Pletcher and Kollin Moore each recorded first-period pins while four of their teammates earned victories via tech fall. Malik Heinselman put the first points on the board for the home team, winning a nice 7-2 decision over Brandon Cray at 125. Heinselman looked good on his feet and managed to finish several shots, along with picking up a nice reversal from the bottom position. After King Sandoval hit a slick 6-point move in the first period against No. 21 Jordan Decatur, the young Buckeye couldn’t quite dig out of the hole despite a flurry of offensive activity late in the third.
