Ohio State basketball continues to fall in latest Bracketology: Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — As Ohio State basketball continues to struggle, it finds itself falling in the projected NCAA tournament seeding. In ESPN’s Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology the Buckeyes are now down to the No. 8 seed which could be considered on the bubble territory for a Power Five conference team. OSU holds a 13-7 record and 3-6 in the Big Ten, but have lost six of its last eight games. The full projected tournament seedings feature 12 Big Ten teams which is seven more than any other conference, though none are a No. 1 seed. The ACC is the only Power Five conference without at least five teams. Michigan State holds the highest seed at No. 3 while Minnesota has the lowest at No. 11 in what would be a First Four play-in game.
