During his first stint with the Ohio State football program as cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs became known as one of the top recruiters in the country. He quickly proved he hasn’t lost his touch on the recruiting trail after coaching in the NFL for two seasons. Yesterday Cameron Martinez announced on Twitter he will honor his commitment to the Buckeyes’ 2020 recruiting class. He was the lone commit who didn’t officially join the class during the Early Signing Period. Martinez decided to keep his options open until the Ohio State defensive backs coaching situation was resolved as he is projected to play on that side of the ball.
