Ryan Day and his staff have the country’s No. 5 ranked 2020 recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings. The class is made up of 24 signees and one commitment, athlete Cameron Martinez who will sign with the Buckeyes on Feb. 5. The final Top247 recruit rankings were released on Tuesday which also updates the Composite recruit rankings. That makes it a good time to look at the rankings and pick out my top six members of the Buckeyes’ 2020 class that are most likely to exceed their rankings. Let me begin by saying when I do this I start with the lowest ranked recruits and work my way up. I do that because someone like a Julian Fleming or Paris Johnson for instance, being ranked so very high, would have a hard time exceeding their ranking.
