COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football can now say that it has four players in its 2020 recruiting class that are five-star recruits as C.J. Stroud joins the list according to 247Sports. The California native joined the class after committing during the early signing period giving the Buckeyes two quarterbacks in the class. He jumped from No. 95 to the No. 29 overall player and sits behind Clemson early enrollee DJ Uiagalelei as the No. 2 pro-style quarterback. Stroud came on to the scene last summer after receiving a late invite the Elite 11 quarterback competition once Uiagalelei dropped out to focus on his senior high school season. Once there he ended up winning the competition and taking home MVP honors as Justin Fields did in 2017.
