Ohio State will use Clemson loss as motivation for 2020

The sting of Ohio State’s loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal on Dec. 28 still hurts for those at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Two and a half weeks after the game, Buckeye head coach Ryan Day wasn’t shying away from how much he still thinks about the 29-23 loss to the Tigers that saw the Scarlet and Gray blow a 16-point first half lead. “That was a tough game to swallow,” Day said on Jan. 15, admitting that he probably thinks about the defeat every other second of the day now instead of every second like he was in the week that followed.
