COLUMBUS, Ohio — The recruiting dead period starts on Feb. 3 and will run through the end of the month, but until then Ohio State football has been busy offering a handful of players from the class of 2021 and 2022. The Buckeyes have offered 151 players in the class of 2021 with nine commits in its second-ranked class in the country. In 2022 they have not landed a commit yet but have offered 23 players. Denzel Burke of Saguaro High School in Arizona is the No. 182 overall player and No. 16 athlete in the 2021 recruiting class. The Buckeyes are the four-star recruit’s 15th offer and second from the Big Ten along with Nebraska.
