COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and special teams coach Matt Barnes went to visit 2020 commit Cameron Martinez of Muskegon (Mich.) High School over the weekend as he is also playing basketball for the Big Reds. Martinez is the only player in Ohio State football’s 2020 recruiting class that has not signed. After four-star running back Jahmyr Gibb pulled out of his official visit, it seems all attention is focused on making sure Martinez heads to Columbus this summer. The three-star recruit is rated as the No. 324 overall player and No. 14 athlete in the class and elected not to sign early following the departure of Jeff Hafley who is now the head coach at Boston College.
