Ohio State basketball drops out of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team is unranked in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll for the first time this season following a 1-1 week. Despite ending a four-game losing streak by beating Nebraska at home, the Buckeyes dropped their fifth Big Ten game and sixth overall in a blowout loss at Penn State. After being ranked No. 18 in the preseason, OSU climbed as high as No. 2 before dropping over the last three weeks. Ohio State will return to the court on Thursday for its second matchup with Minnesota. There is also a new No. 1 as Baylor has jumped Gonzaga despite both teams being 2-0 last week.
