Ohio State basketball’s Luther Muhammad and Duane Washington Jr. could return for Penn State following suspension


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball was without guards Luther Muhammad and Duane Washington Jr. in its 80-68 win over Nebraska on Tuesday night. The sophomore guards were suspended for a “failure to meet program standards and expectations.” Though both were in the building for the win, they watched the game from inside the locker room instead of the bench. Head coach Chris Holtmann did not go into detail as to why they two were suspended, but did state that they have handled the situation well. “They had a great attitude (about it),” Holtmann said. “They were supporting their teammates in the locker room. They had a great approach.” Holtmann did not rule out the possibility that the two could rejoin the team for its road matchup with Penn State on Saturday.
