Ohio State basketball’s shooting woes and lack of guard play continue as its losing streak reaches four


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball’s head coach Chris Holtmann lives by the statement ‘You don’t know what your team is until after January’ and he’s been prophetic in that analysis the past two seasons. Last year the world found out that the Buckeyes were a young and inexperienced team that relied too heavily on the inside presence that is Kaleb Wesson. The result was a six-game losing streak. This year it looked like they were headed down the same path as they entered Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Saturday, trying to rid themselves of a three-game losing streak. That didn’t happen.
