Look back no further than the Big Ten championship game, when Wyatt Davis needed his shoulder popped back into place. The Buckeyes could turn to right tackle Branden Bowen, a former starter at right guard, to slide into Davis’ place. Nicholas Petit-Frere, a former five-star prospect, came off the bench in Bowen’s spot, and OSU punched in a late touchdown. Donovan Jackson is a highly ranked offensive line prospect — ranked in the top 60 overall of the 247 Sports national consensus — in part because he could end up helping a program at either guard or tackle.
