COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football continues to clean up the state of Ohio in the class of 2021 as it has now added a commitment from Jaylen Johnson of La Salle High School. The three-star recruit is rated as the nation’s No. 421 overall player and the No. 18 safety in the class. This is the second straight year that the Buckeyes have taken a commitment from the Southern Ohio school as Johnson joins 2020 kicker Jake Seibert. Johnson chose Ohio State over 14 other schools including Penn State and Michigan State. He is the second defensive player added to the class joining Reid Carrico of Ironton (OH) High School.
