COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s offense may have the best of both worlds in 2020 — a nucleus of veteran stars and an intriguing batch of talented newcomers. Even with J.K. Dobbins leaving early, three reliable senior receivers moving on and a couple of holes opening up on the offensive line, the Buckeyes could conceivably approach 2019?s scoring average of 46.9. With spring football still on the distant horizon and preseason camp more than six months away, here’s an early guess at the Buckeyes’ season-opening depth chart on offense. Some receivers may be interchangeable between X and Z and even the slot. Some backup offensive linemen may shift to either side of center.
