COLUMBUS, Ohio — One assumes Shaun Wade moves from slot cornerback to the outside as he returns to Ohio State football for the 2020 season. As the redshirt sophomore alluded to in his Saturday announcement that he will put off the NFL Draft for now, his most important role for next season has little to do with his position. The Buckeyes need Wade to be a teacher and a leader in a largely remade starting secondary — and it’s a role he seems eager to embrace. Ohio State knew it would lose seniors Damon Arnette Jr. and Jordan Fuller after the season.
