COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team has now lost back-to-back games for the first time this season with four of its next six games away from the Schottenstein Center. Last season the month of January presented a rough stretch for Ohio State that resulted in five-straight losses to start the calendar year. The uptick in the level of talent in its opponents exposed some of the issues that roster had. This year’s team doesn’t have that problem of having to wait until January to play high-level teams. The Buckeyes have shown some of its strengths in 11 wins this season. But they’ve also demonstrated glaring problems in losses.
