Ohio State football’s J.K. Dobbins and Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor put up identical seasons: Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The argument of who has been the better running back between Ohio State football’s J.K. Dobbins and Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor has reached a conclusion. It’s a tie. The two Big Ten running backs have finished the 2019 season with identical rushing numbers of exactly 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns. Though Taylor gets the slight edge in receiving yards with 252 yards to Dobbins’ 247 yards. Taylor also had higher usage than Dobbins being in an offense that lives and dies by the run game in a way very few schools do. Taylor used 320 carries and 26 catches, to Dobbins’ 301 carries and 23 catches.
