SCOTTDALE, Ariz. — There are two schools located 20 miles apart from each other in the northwestern Atlanta suburbs — Cartersville High and Harrison High. Between 2014-18, the schools featured two quarterbacks who would become the top two players in the 2018 recruiting class. As close in proximity as they were as high schoolers, the Fiesta Bowl is the first time Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence play each other in an official football game. “It’s crazy how everything works out,” Lawrence said. “We’re both from Georgia like 30 minutes apart and never played each other in a real game.
