SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Clemson football team talked with the media Tuesday for the first time since arriving in Arizona for the 2019 Fiesta Bowl. Players and assistant coaches were asked about a variety of subjects, from game planning for Ohio State defensive end Chase Young to the relationship between quarterbacks Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence. The College Football Playoff semifinal will be the most talent-equated game either team has played this season. Offensively, Ohio State averages a nation-best 48.7 points per game, and Clemson comes in fourth at 46.5. On defense, the Tigers sit at the top, allowing just 10.8 points per game, while the Buckeyes are tied with Georgia at No. 2 giving up 12.5 points per game.
