Has anyone had a more memorable decade than the Penn State football program? PSU and its fanbase lived through more ups and downs than a Hersheypark roller coaster. The decade started with the stability of the longest-tenured coach in the country, the legendary Joe Paterno, and ended with the freshly re-signed James Franklin. In between were Bill O’Brien, NCAA sanctions, a Big Ten title, trips to the Rose and Fiesta Bowls and a generational running back. It was a truly amazing time with many great moments.
