Ohio State football’s Jordan Fuller, Branden Bowen accept invitations to East-West Shrine Bowl


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two more Ohio State football seniors will extend their college careers by playing in a postseason All-Star game. Safety Jordan Fuller and offensive lineman Branden Bowen have both accepted invitations to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl, per the game’s website. The game is held Jan. 18 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. NFL Network’s broadcast will begin at 3 p.m. The game, first held in 1925, benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children, which provides advanced care for kids with a variety of physical conditions without regard to the family’s ability to afford the treatment. Fuller was a finalist for the Lott IMPACT Award for his combination of on-field play and academic excellence. He ranks third on the Buckeyes with 57 tackles, along with two interceptions and four pass breakups.
