COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following its third win over a top 10 opponent this season, the Ohio State basketball team moved up to No. 2 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll. The Buckeyes won games over No. 6 Kentucky — which moved down to No. 19 — and Southeast Missouri State to improve to 11-1 for the second straight season. This is their highest ranking since the 2011-12 season. They are the highest-ranked of the six Big Ten teams in the top 25 this week. Following No. 5 Kansas’ one-point loss to No. 10 Villanova, college basketball now has had six teams hold the No. 1 spot, as Gonzaga took over for the first time this season.
