American Football Coaches Association All-America 2019: Ohio State’s Chase Young, Jeff Okudah honored again


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The American Football Coaches Association became the fourth of the five major All-America lists to bestow first-team honors on Ohio State’s Chase Young and Jeff Okudah, leaving both one list short of unanimous status with one to go. Young and Okudah were both also first-team selections of the Associated Press, The Sporting News and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. The Football Writers Association of America is scheduled to announce its All-America team on Thursday. Young and Okudah have already reached consensus All-America status. It is the fourth time in the past five seasons that Ohio State has had two consensus picks in the same year. Buckeye guard Wyatt Davis, quarterback Justin Fields and running back J.K.
