Julian Fleming might be the greatest wide receiver Pennsylvania has ever produced, but he won’t play college football in the Keystone State. The Southern Columbia senior — ESPN’s top-ranked player in the Class of 2020 — followed through on his commitment Wednesday morning and signed a letter of intent to play with the Ohio State Buckeyes. It’s a decision that didn’t go over well with some of the home-state crowd from the moment he made his commitment, but it’s also a decision that seems to have already shaped and matured Fleming as he embarks on the challenge of trying to live up to his lofty billing. “Overcoming adversity and just people coming at you constantly, beyond the fan bases,” Fleming said following his team’s state title win on Dec. 7. “It gets to you to an extent.
