MUSKEGON, MI – Since announcing his commitment to Ohio State on July 4, Cameron Martinez had been looking forward to the day he would officially become a Buckeye. That day may not be Wednesday, when the early signing period for Division I college football begins. But it still might be. As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, it was a fluid situation, according to Martinez’s stepfather, Keith Guy. Martinez, the electrifying senior from Muskegon High School, who is rated a four-star prospect as an athlete, remains committed to Ohio State and the offer is still on the table. The dynamic of his OSU commitment changed a bit on Saturday, however, when Buckeyes co-defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley was announced as Boston College’s head coach.
