COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State moved up to No. 3 in the updated Associated Press Top 25 college basketball rankings following wins over North Carolina and Penn State. The Buckeyes are the highest-ranked Big Ten team in the poll and one of three in the top five joined by No. 4 Maryland and No. 5 Michigan. The only conference with more top 25 teams than the Big Ten is the ACC with five, headlined by No. 1 Louisville who handed the Wolverines their first loss as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. New to the rankings this week are No. 23 Xavier and No. 25 San Diego State.
