INDIANAPOLIS – Ohio State football cornerback Jeff Okudah left the Big Ten championship game against Wisconsin in the first quarter with an apparent injury. Okudah came out of the game late in the quarter and could be seen talking to an athletic trainer on the bench. He went into the Buckeyes’ medical tent, then returned to sit on the bench and stand on the sideline without his helmet. Sevyn Banks and Cameron Brown have played in Okudah’s absence. A Thorpe Award semifinalist and first-team All-Big Ten selection, Okudah has been a major part of Ohio State’s top-ranked defense. He has collected 25 tackles and three interceptions this season. He has graded out as a champion in nine of 12 games.
