COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football senior cornerback Damon Arnette has a high pain tolerance. It’s the only reason he’s been able to spend the season playing with a broken right wrist he suffered thanks to running back J.K. Dobbins. In the first week of preseason camp, he went to try and punch a ball out of Dobbins’ possession, and his wrist ended up paying the price. “I finished that practice, though, by the way,” Arnette said. Since then, he’s played with a cast on his wrist to ease the blows he takes in games. Even with the added protection, he admits that sometimes he can still feel the pain when making tackles.
