COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team is about to find out just how good it is when it faces North Carolina as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. This game will be the Buckeyes’ second against a team ranked in the top 10. But this time they won’t play in the comfort of their arena as they’ll play their first road game of the season. This game is a test for the Buckeyes, but it can also be a coming-out party for a program in its third year under Chris Holtmann. A lot of that statement can also be directly applied to freshman DJ Carton. The first-year point guard came to Columbus as a four-star recruit out of Iowa rated as the No. 34 player in the class.
