COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State maintained its status atop the College Football Playoff rankings for at least one more week. Now, it’s up to the Buckeyes and LSU to make their final case for No. 1 in their respective conference championships on Saturday. Ohio State will play Wisconsin, which rose four spots to No. 8, in the Big Ten conference championship game in Indianapolis. The Buckeyes already have one victory over the Badgers this season, 38-7 at home on Oct. 26. No. 2 LSU and No. 4 Georgia will play in the SEC championship game in Atlanta. Both of those teams maintained their place in the rankings, as did No. 3 Clemson. Utah is No. 5 and Oklahoma is No 6, and both will also play in conference championship games this weekend.
