Ohio State football fills up All-Big Ten defense with four first-team selections


COLUMBUS, Ohio — One year ago, Ohio State football’s defense was seen by many as the unit holding the Buckeyes back from the upper tier of college football. In 2019, the Buckeyes’ top-ranked defense stifled all varieties of offense challenges throughout the Big Ten Conference season. All 11 of Ohio State’s defensive starters and one reserve were recognized with All-Big Ten honors, including four first-team selections. Defensive end Chase Young, cornerback Jeff Okudah and safety Jordan Fuller were all first-team choices of both the coaches and media.
