Ohio State basketball moves up to No. 6 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State moved up to No. 6 in the updated Associated Press Top 25 following wins over Kent State and Morgan State. The Buckeyes will face No. 7 North Carolina on Wednesday in their second game against a ranked opponent this season. This week’s rankings feature four new teams as well as the fourth team to occupy the No. 1 spot in Louisville. The Cardinals received 48 of 65 possible first-place votes. Duke dropped from the top spot after being the second No. 1 team to lose to be upset by a mid-major program this season. The highest jump was made AP Poll newcomer No. 4 Michigan. The Wolverines took down Iowa State, the Tarheels and No. 9 Gonzaga on its way to winning the Battle 4 Atlantis.
