Who stood out in Ohio State football’s win over Michigan?


ANN ARBOR, Mich. — While Justin Fields and J.K. Dobbins were the clear storylines of the day, there were others who played a significant role in Ohio State football’s 56-27 win over Michigan. The Buckeyes’ secondary needed guys to step up in Shaun Wade’s absence. Though it took a while, guys eventually settled in and made plays while making Michigan’s passing attack nonexistent in the second half. Offensive lineman Branden Bowen demonstrated the right way to show toughness in response to some unnecessary penalties by the Wolverines.. While Pete Werner once again put together a solid game. Ohio State’s best players played like its best players, but the all-around effort is why its won eight straight against its Big Ten rival.
