Opinion: Latest loss shows Michigan is nowhere close to Ohio State, and it's getting worse

They were competitive for a while again. Though, really, that we’re even saying that at this point means we’re talking about moral victories.  Not that there were any Saturday at Michigan Stadium, unless you count the way the offense looked the first couple of quarters.  Fine. Michigan’s football team showed it could score a couple touchdowns against the Buckeyes.  Then what?  Exactly.   What is there to say anymore, anyway?  This isn’t a rivalry as much as it’s a peace agreement, whereupon the Wolverines have been forced to sign a treaty accepting its fate as an afterthought.   Or a walkover.   Ohio State’s 56-27 win Saturday made it eight in a row for the Buckeyes, and 16 of the last 18.   Now, you can’t pin this all on Jim Harbaugh.
