Ohio State football storms past Michigan 56-27 to extend winning streak in The Game to eight


ANN ARBOR, Michigan – Ohio State football spent the first 10 weeks of the season enjoying the excess of its high-powered offense. The Buckeyes did not need all of those points they piled up while drubbing their way through the Big Ten Conference. Justin Fields, J.K. Dobbins and the rest of the starting unit attacked in thunderous bursts and often finished their shits by the end of the third quarter. Saturday at Michigan, with its defense compromised by injury and the Wolverines capitalizing better than any previous opponent, Ohio State needed every highlight those playmakers could muster. Dobbins left a lasting impression in Michigan Stadium, Fields bounced back from a brief injury with a season-defining moment, and Ohio State whipped Michigan 56-27 to complete an undefeated regular season.
