Michigan football mistakes, failure to make plays lead to 56-27 loss to Ohio State

And they did.  Only in the wrong direction. Michigan made several game-changing mistakes in the first half that allowed the Buckeyes to take a 12-point lead into halftime, despite a highly efficient — and impressive — performance from the Wolverines’ offense. And that lead eventually ballooned in the second half, as Michigan fell, 56-27, to Ohio State. A missed extra point. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for pulling off someone’s shoe after the play. A dropped snap deep in the red zone. An offsides on fourth-and-4 that gifted Ohio State a first down, which it took advantage of by scoring two plays later.
