ANN ARBOR — Michigan started fast, but costly mistakes and penalties have it teetering at the halfway point of the biggest game of the season. The 13th-ranked Wolverines trail No. 1 Ohio State, 28-16, at halftime despite 285 yards of total offense. Michigan (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) struck first with a seven-play, 75-yard touchdown drive, capped by a 22-yard carry by Giles Jackson, but Quinn Nordin missed the extra point.
