COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball is now 6-0 after knocking off Kent State 71-52 in its return to St. John Arena. The Buckeyes haven’t played the most competitive non-conference schedule to this point. Outside of a physical game against Cincinnati to open the season, they have been dominant against every team they’ve faced. That included a 76-51 win over then-No. 10 ranked Villanova. That was an impressive win, but blowouts against Stetson and Purdue Fort Wayne were expected. Kent State provided a solid test for a team that had won its last four games by an average of 24.8 points.
