COLUMBUS, Ohio – Over its first 10 games, Ohio State football went into the fourth quarter with an average lead of 42-7. The Buckeyes went into the fourth quarter against Penn State on Saturday with a rapidly deteriorating lead and an increasing sense of their season’s mortality. Ohio State led 21-0 before two turnovers helped the Nittany Lions scored 17 unanswered points. Ohio State escaped the potential crisis with a 28-17 victory that clinched the Big Ten East Division championship.
