COLUMBUS, Ohio – The top five teams in the Associated Press Top 25 poll remained unchanged going into the final week prior to conference championship games. LSU remains No. 1 with a wide lead, followed by No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Clemson, No. 4 Georgia and No. 5 Alabama. Michigan moved up two spots to No. 10 ahead of Saturday’s game against the Buckeyes in Ann Arbor. Among other Big Ten Conference teams, No. 9 Minnesota and No. 13 Wisconsin both moved up one spot. Those teams play in Minneapolis on Safurday, with the winner advancing to the Big Ten championship game to face Ohio State. Penn State fell three spots to No. 9 after a 28-17 loss at Ohio State.
