Miyan Williams, 3-star 2020 running back, commits to Ohio State football: Buckeyes recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s 2020 recruiting class was in need of a running back and after a 28-17 win over Penn State Saturday, it got one in the form of Miyan Williams of Winton Woods (Ohio) High School. The three-star recruit is rated as the nation’s No. 618 overall player and the No. 43 running back in the class. He originally committed to Iowa State in July but chose to flip to the Buckeyes after taking an unofficial visit to Saturday’s game. He picked the Buckeyes over 12 other scholarship offers. Ohio State’s search for a 2020 running back commitment went deep into the fall after striking out on three players in the summer. Williams gives the Buckeyes eight in-state recruits, all but one are from Southern Ohio. Overall the Buckeyes’ 2020 class now features 25 players.
