Chase Young ‘amped up’ to return for Ohio State football vs. Penn State, says ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit


COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football’s Chase Young spent his two-game suspension away from cameras and reporters’ eyes, preparing for his return for Saturday’s game against Penn State. Former Buckeyes quarterback and ESPN College GameDay analyst Kirk Herbstreit, however, watched Young in practice on Thursday and talked to him afterward. His impressions of Young’s mindset? “I hope Penn State avoids third-and-6 or longer, because he is really amped up,” Herbstreit said. “He’s always good, but I think he’s got a little bit more motivation — a little bit more energy to him, if you can imagine that.
