How K.J. Hill is still producing at the same rate for Ohio State football even with less opportunities


COLUMBUS, Ohio — K.J. Hill comes into the last home of his college football career needing nine catches to become Ohio State football’s all-time leader in receptions. So far this season, he’s averaging 3.8 catches per game. If he keeps up that pace, he’ll have it by the end of the Big Ten Championship game. He’d knock off David Boston, who’s held the record of 191 catches since 1998. “It’s crazy to have my name in that boat with all the great wide receivers that have played here,” Hill said. “That’s a legacy that I’ve left here, so I’m proud of that.” Hill leads the Buckeyes in catches this season with 30 for 305 yards and four touchdowns.
